The Zedman Awards provides tangible recognition of merit in video creation.
Whether your media is event, installation, commercial, or corporate. If its message is advertising, marketing, branded content, public service messages, business to business, news, information, event material, or site-specific. The Zedman Award honors the creative content makers -- individuals and companies -- in a range of fields including production, direction, cinematography, graphics, writing, and editing.
Overseen by the Society for Creative Professionals, each entry is judged on its own based on the standards set by the awards committee each year. There are multiple categories of entry grouped by the style, subject matter, or production element.
Judges are professionals in the field of video and include award-winning advertising agency producers or copywriters; marketing managers; commercial, television, or film directors and producers; and website creatives.
There are gold, silver, and copper awards in each category. Gold and silver recipients are eligible to purchase a trophy, or plaque. Copper winners may get a plaque.
All recipients receive a certificate. Promotional graphics are also available to publicize your recognition on your website, social media, and other platforms.
A portion of the proceeds from each round of awards is given to selected 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organizations.
Multiple categories are available for submitting video. And one video can be entered into more than classification.

Videos must be eight minutes long or less. If the language used is important, it must be English.
Videos must have been released in the current or prior year of the round being entered.
All entries must available for review online. This protects your content, as we never have possession of your video files if you so choose. They can be password protected. You simply send us a link and password if one is required. The video must be kept available for the duration of the award period. You can use sites such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Vimeo, and YouTube.
Each entry in each category is $85.

Judges experienced from a range background experience review entries. Each video is evaluated on its own merits and not in comparison to others. This means there are no set number of winners in any category. In some rounds, no one may secure Gold or Silver in a category while in another group, more than one video may receive the same recognition level.
Consideration is given to the resources available to a production. Funny is funny, informative is informative. A video made with a modest budget and local talent can be as effective as an expensive national spot. We honor excellence at every level and appreciate that regional content may not have the same means as a international company.

Awards are given to both individuals and organizations to recognize the contribution to the final product. You can enter yourself as the filmmaker or on behalf of your company that had the video made.

A personalized certificate is available to each recipient. In addition, graphic elements are provided for use on sites and printed matter. Zedman recipients can also purchase trophies and plaques depending on their level of recognition.
The awards are custom manufactured in America. They feature a contemporary, industrial design of solid metal with engraved elements and clean finishes.
The trophy itself stands nearly one foot high and weighs almost two pounds. It features a brushed stainless-steel base and a medal at the top reflecting your level of achievement (gold or silver).
The plaque is machined aluminum and available to gold, silver, and copper honorees.
Both are bold designs unlike other awards out there that dramatically express your achievement.
Each award is personalized to your specifications, so they may reflect your accomplishment or be customized for a client to let them know their messaging has been recognized.
Additional personalized certificates is issued to each recipient and additional ones may be ordered.
